When I founded AIRLOC, it wasn't just another business venture—it was the culmination of years immersed in the executive search industry, witnessing both its immense potential and its persistent challenges.
For years, I served as the product and engineering leader for a premier process management tool in the executive search space. This unique position gave me an insider's perspective on what truly constitutes exceptional search practices. I saw firsthand how the right combination of technology and human expertise could transform outcomes for clients and candidates alike.
What became increasingly clear was that while technology could enhance and streamline processes, the human element remained irreplaceable—the nuanced judgment, the relationship-building, the deep understanding of organizational fit that only experienced search professionals could provide. I had mastered the technological side, but I recognized that true innovation would need to honor and enhance that human expertise rather than attempt to replace it.
In August 2023, Stanford released their groundbreaking paper on AI agents (Generative Agents: Interactive Simulacra of Human Behavior). Reading it was a moment of clarity—I immediately recognized the revolutionary potential for executive search. Here was the missing piece: AI agents that could work alongside human recruiters, handling the time-consuming analytical tasks while amplifying, not replacing, the human judgment that makes executive search an art as much as a science.
AIRLOC was born from this vision: to revolutionize executive search by leveraging AI agents to compress months-long searches into weeks while improving quality and candidate experience. What traditionally took 45 days, we could now accomplish in 45 minutes.
Since then, I've brought together leading industry experts from every corner of the executive search ecosystem. Our team combines decades of search expertise with cutting-edge AI innovation.
